Hi, I’m Summer — founder of Sonny & Sloane, NICU nurse of 10 years, and mama to the two little people who inspired it all, Sloane and Sonny.

I’ve spent my career caring for babies and supporting families through some of their most vulnerable moments. But when I became a mom myself, I quickly learned that professional experience doesn’t make motherhood easy, especially when it comes to feeding your own baby.

My breastfeeding journey challenged me in ways I never expected. I navigated pumping, returning to work, long days away from my babies, and the constant pressure to somehow make it all work.

But that experience also gave me a new perspective: moms don’t need more pressure to do everything perfectly. We need better support, better information, and products designed around the realities of motherhood.

That belief became Sonny & Sloane.

Inspired by more than five years of breastfeeding my own children, I created Sonny & Sloane to make feeding and motherhood feel a little easier, more supported, and more like you.

We started with a pump bag designed for real life — functional enough for long shifts and pumping on the go, but beautiful enough that you actually want to carry it.

However, our mission has always been bigger than a bag.

Sonny & Sloane is here for the learning, pumping, feeding, working, questioning, and figuring-it-out-as-you-go moments of motherhood.

Through thoughtful products and practical education, we’re here to make those moments feel a little easier and a lot more supported.

Because when you feel supported, you can spend less time second-guessing and more time soaking in motherhood.
