Hi, I’m Summer — founder of Sonny & Sloane, NICU nurse of 7+ years, and mama to two sweet babes, Sloane and Sonny. I’ve spent my career supporting moms through some of their most vulnerable moments, but nothing prepared me for the emotional weight of my own breastfeeding journey. Breastfeeding wasn’t intuitive for me — it was stressful, messy, and emotionally draining.

Despite my medical background, I found myself overwhelmed — navigating pumping schedules, returning to work, and the constant pressure to “do it all.” It was messy, emotional, and at times, defeating.

That’s when Sonny & Sloane was born — from the real, raw spaces of motherhood. Inspired by my journey breastfeeding my own children for over five years, I set out to design products that aren’t just functional, but beautiful — pieces that reflect the strength and style of today’s modern mom.

We started with a pump bag — but it’s more than just a bag. It’s a symbol of empowerment, confidence, and calm in the chaos. It’s the one I used every day, built to make pumping on the go easier and feel a little more you.
